Presented by CUNY Dance Initiative and John Jay College at Gerald W. Lynch Theater

On September 13th, in partnership with John Jay College and the CUNY Dance Initiative, MMDC premieres "immigration stories", a series of dances based on true experiences about coming to the United States and ending up in NYC. From a young man who was born in Germany but lived in Ghana before making his way to New York, to a Russian woman who moved to Florida as a teenager, these personal stories open up the vastly different journeys and lives of immigrants in this country.
